Recycled Style: How to style someone else's clothes!

Fashion and style can be found in anything which is one of the reasons I love it. My recycled style for this look came from an old blazer jacket in the back of my dad's closet! Keep reading to find out more.Although fashion made fade, style is forever. When thinking of my looks I like to mix and match to fit my unique style. For this look, I wanted to go with a utilitarian feel; boxy, simple, neutral tone. But to my dismay, I couldn't exactly find what I was looking for. So long and behold, I was led to my father's closet where I found his old off white blazer that I'm sure was heading to the trash, but as the saying goes, one man's trash is another man's treasure. TRANSFORMATION! Add a simple floral clutch, with some strap up sandals and a new look was created.How would you recycle clothing to fit your style?

So what Coachella season is over, Let me show you how to turn a festival inspired clothing into a fierce, fashion masterpiece!

Festival looks always consist of lace/sheer overlays, detailed patterns and fabric embroidery; just a few of the things I can't live with out! So naturally, I wanted to create a look inspired by festival clothing.ZARA, the place of endless possibilities! I snagged this embroidered dress in December and it's gotten some good use since then. This time I wanted it to look different and be the overall focus. I paired it with a black strapless top and spandex shorts.Let me give you the number one rule when in comes to personal style. YOUR shoes can MAKE or BREAK your outfit! It's that simple. Shoes create a mood in my opinion, and whatever statement you would like your outfit to make starts with your shoes. I wanted my outfit to scream I AM IT! Head turner, conversation starter, "ooh, where did you get that" kind of look. So thank you ALDO for creating these beautiful RED babies that were the icing on the cake for this look. What's your favorite Festival piece? How would you style it?

#OOTD Spring Looks x Feeling Blue

Feeling blue. Often this expression is in relation to sadness, but when I think of the color blue, I think of peace, confidence + truth. So what better way to depict this beautiful color than in a outfit. Keep reading for more details on this look!

A big trend for the season that I am falling in love with is off the shoulder button ups. It's a simple way to transform a shirt that you already have. I'm currently wearing an old button up t-shirt dress that I knotted for a crop top look. This look wouldn't be complete with out my mom jean shorts and blue fringe heels!

Once I had the essentials for this look I wanted a simple, yet vibrant accessory to match. So I created a clutch cover. Yep, this bag is made from blue fabric and hot glue, laid over a previous Lancome clutch that I own.
