Once a bird...always a bird!

My very first alumni weekend! What a bittersweet feeling. So remember how I told you guys that during my graduation I didn't really realize what was happening, well it finally hit me this past Sunday when I realized that the scenarios had been reversed; that I wasn't going home to New Jersey for a visit, that the visit was at Catholic in D.C. I missed everything, my friends, the D.C air (Even the humidity), the campus and the horrible cafeteria food, I missed being in college. I don't know how long this transition will be but I want to get past this nostalgic feeling. Until then, I'll just make occasional visits to the school I liked in the city I loved, with my so called friends lol! I can't really recap my weekend in the form of words because so much happened, but I hope that the pictures due it justice!

Now Trending...It's Spring in Fall!

If you’re from the tri-state area than you must understand the frustration of not really knowing what season you’re in. One minute its 74 degrees the next it’s a chilling 48 degrees! So since the seasons can’t seem to make up their minds. I’m guessing fashion couldn’t either. The fall 2015 trend that I’m most bewildered yet intrigued by is the pastel colors and bright patterns trend.Pastels and Bright patterns almost always signify spring, but this year the fashion gurus decided to break the rules and integrate pastels and bright patterns into fall fashion! Are you feeling this backwards trend? Let me know in the comments below! The Lovely Pastels: fall fashion 5 fall fashion 4 fall fashion 3Bright and Bold Patterns! fall 2015 fall 2015 2Xoxo,Kelsley

The Colourpop Rave!

CollageIf you haven't heard of ColourPop then you are truly missing out. Although they are pretty new to the beauty market they are making headway fast! They were brought to my attention by none other than the fabulous itsmyrayeraye. As an avid youtube subscriber I follow everything she posts. She posted 8 new shades that were out on the ColourPop market and I just had to have them. Trying not to get all of them at once, I narrowed down the 8 to 2 and chose Kapow and Guess! They kind of remind me of  the Kat von D liquid lipstick, but a little drier. Which is understandable considering that they're only $6. Nonetheless I'm still in love with these two colors and I'm so excited to wear them again. Check them out below!Kapow:face 1Lip 1       Smile 1Lip 3Guess: face 2Lip 2       Lip 4        Smile 2      Xoxo, Kelsley
