The Cherry Blossom Festival

This post is long overdue and I apologize in advance for that. A few weeks back in one of my favorite cities I finally decided to be a true tourist and go to the Cherry Blossom Festival in our nation’s Capital. I have loved living in D.C these past four years and I have truly regretted not seeing more of the touristy places within the city. Well I finally got to witness this amazing site, The Cherry Blossoms! Me, Candace and Vic made our way in the 75 degree weather and took as many pictures as we possibly could.I think this is the part of D.C that I will miss the most, the sites. Being able to easily hop on the metro and go downtown to these Historic places. But I’m glad I have the pictures, because they hold my memories and remind me that I can always go back to the city I love whenever I like.

Bad day, lipstickI was cleaning up my makeup bag the other day and realized, dagg, I have a lot of lipsticks, maybe I should get rid of some of them… I think not. My lipsticks, to me are like my shoes, a simple statement piece within an outfit, and like my shoes, I don’t believe there is such a thing as “too many lipsticks.” There are 365 days in a year, I think I’m doing alright with my 15+ lipsticks! My lipsticks range from Tom Ford to the dollar store brand, I don’t discriminate, if it looks good on my lips I could care less about whose fancy logo is on it. For the love of winter...

I did my perusing through the mall a few weeks ago and instantly fell in love with some of these hot items for the winter.Knits:I personally love knits because they give the illusion that my body is shaped differently then it actually is!
