My appetite for traveling was awakened when I studied abroad 4 years ago in Barcelona. I was so excited, nervous but mostly excited to see the world. Although I had done a little traveling with my family here and there, I hadn't gone further than the caribbean. Boy, I didn't know what I was missing.This trip changed me, it actually opened up the idea of blogging! My blogging career started with an online travel journal on my tumblr. I wrote on my experience, fears, adventures and more!
During my stay in Barcelona I visited 2 continents, 8 countries and 17 cities in 4 months with little to none in my account! I never knew I could fall in love with the world the way that I did, I had no idea that I would come back from that trip with an entirely new perspective on life.4 years later, with a somewhat steady bank account and more life-changing perspectives I'm excited to venture on again. Maybe not as quickly as I did back then, but I am taking on new territories. So here's to the next chapter of travel and I hope that you will journey with me!"to travel is to live"

Let’s start out with a bit of honesty shall we. Vegas has always been on my bucket list, not because I’m super in to anything that it has to offer, but mainly because it’s VEGAS and everyone should see it at some point of in their life. But to my surprise, I LOVED Vegas! So so much and I really do believe like LA it’s a place that I could visit regularly and not get tired of. The west coast lifestyle is always so different from the east coast and I think it’s a sweet escape to visit Vegas every once in awhile.
As for most of my travel tips, I’m going to break this trip down by budget, activities and nightlife. So if you’re looking to visit Vegas for an extended weekend then this is the post for you!

The initial purpose of this spontaneous trip was creativity! A group of creatives and I wanted to go to Montreal for a photo and video shoot! Staycation should be a bigger thing than they are! I love flying but it was honestly so nice to getaway and not deal with the hassle of the airport, Uber, ears popping, babies crying and all the other nonsense when you’re trying to fly out. I also know that some people aren’t quite ready to fly yet but she should take your vacation days sis!
